Samsung’s 27” Odyssey OLED G6 QHD AMD FreeSyncTM Premium Pro Gaming Monitors take gameplay to a whole new level. OLED delivers superior brightness and a wide color gamut, ensuring vivid detail and brilliant imagery in every scene. OLED technology delivers near-instant reaction time with 0.03ms (GtG) response time and a 240Hz refresh rate. AMD FreeSyncTM Premium Pro keeps the GPU and panel synced up, which reduces choppiness, screen-lag, and image tears. The Dynamic Cooling System prevents burn-in and the Thermal Modulation System automatically controls brightness to reduce heat. Logo, Taskbar and Screen Saver provide automatic dimming while on a break. Glare Free technology presents the perfect black and color experience by significantly reducing glare from external light sources. Deep Black Levels lets true black and darker colors be seen without pixel light bleed. The slim design features a premium metal finish to suit every player’s style, and the ergonomic stand can be tilted and adjusted for total gaming comfort. 3-Year Warranty.
¹Based on GtG measured under internal test conditions. Results may vary by content and monitor settings. GtG (Gray to Gray) measures the time taken for a monitor pixel to change from one gray value to another. ²Screen images simulated for illustrative purposes. ³When “Adjust Logo Brightness” is on “Off” or “Low,” Thermal Modulation is active in certain picture modes only. When “Adjust Logo Brightness” is on “High,” Thermal Modulation is always active. ⁴Logo detection is not available in PC mode. 5 Based on internal test results.

Review: Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 (360Hz) – 5 Months of Daily UseI bought this monitor on April 26, 2025, and after 5 months of heavy use, I can confidently share my experience. Before this, I always played at 60Hz, then briefly tried a 240Hz Alienware (which came defective). That pushed me to try OLED, and after a lot of research, I chose Samsung — a brand I trust.Image QualityThe image quality is simply stunning. Once you try OLED, there’s no going back to IPS• Vivid colors and perfect blacks create unmatched immersion.• Infinite contrast makes dark scenes look incredible.• For anime, movies, and TV shows, the experience is on another level. The design is also premium: thin, solid build quality, and a sleek metallic gray finish.Gaming PerformanceThe response time is blazing fast. I play Monster Hunter Wilds, Destiny 2, Zenless Zone Zero, Resident Evil, Dead by Daylight, and Rocket League. The monitor performs flawlessly in all of them.Important note: my RTX 4070 usually delivers 60–240Hz in most games, and I only reach the full 360Hz in Rocket League. Still, the monitor does an amazing job, and the smoothness is noticeable even when I don’t hit 360Hz.For office tasks (Docs, Word, Excel, Google Slides, labs), I often have static images for 3–4 hours. No burn-in issues at all.Burn-in ConcernsThis was my biggest fear, but after 5 months I’ve had zero problems.• I use energy-saving mode to lower brightness.• I keep HDR off (I don’t see a big difference, and brightness is already strong enough).• I avoid abusing max brightness 24/7.Samsung also helps with pixel cleaning when you turn the monitor off and small pixel shifts. In my opinion, burn-in is only a real issue if you push the monitor beyond its limits.Compatibility• Works perfectly with my RTX 4070 PC (DisplayPort 1.4).• Great match for my PS5 (HDMI 2.1).If you want a monitor for both PC and console, this is an excellent choice.DownsidesThe only weak spot is the rear control button. It works fine, but feels a bit delicate. I saw a review where someone broke it, though mine is still perfect. My advice: set up your preferences once and don’t overuse it.Final VerdictThe Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 (360Hz, QHD) is a top-tier monitor.• For competitive gaming, it offers unmatched fluidity and response.• For movies and anime, colors and details are breathtaking.• For daily use, it works great as long as you use it wisely.Pros:• Amazing OLED colors and true blacks.• 360Hz refresh rate with instant response.• Built-in burn-in protection.• Premium design and materials.• Works great with PC + PS5.Cons:• Lower brightness than Mini-LED.• Rear button feels fragile.Overall: I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a 2K OLED gaming monitor at 240Hz or 360Hz. Just take care of it, and it will last for years.

FANTASTIC, VIBRANT, BEAUTIFUL MONITOR.This is my response to most negative reviews:Listen, I have owned MANY different monitors over the last 10 or so years, from VA to IPS all the way to OLED. And this monitor my friend, is gorgeous.BEZELS: Now, I see a LOT of people complaining about the black "bezels" around the monitor, which "make it appear smaller". This is nothing but placebo, yes, there are 'gaps' between the bezels of the chassis of the monitor and the actual panel itself (See pictures). So it LOOKS like it might be smaller than a traditional IPS 27" screen. But I've done measurements and the screen itself is about 26.6 inches. Whereas my old 27" Samsung IPS monitor screen is about ~26.7 inches. THIS IS MINIMAL AND NOT NOTICEABLE. Good luck trying to find an OLED without it.. ALSO TURN OFF THE LIGHTS IN YOUR ROOM IF THIS REALLY BOTHERS YOU THAT MUCHCOLOR FRINGING WITH HIGH-CONTRAST TEXT(See pictures): Color fringing in QD-OLED monitors occurs due to their unique triangular subpixel layout, unlike the traditional RGB stripe pattern found in IPS displays. This layout improves brightness and color accuracy but can cause text clarity issues since most text rendering algorithms are optimized for RGB stripes. As a result, fine text may appear with colored edges or slight blurring, especially at smaller sizes or high-contrast settings. And because you are buying a 1440p monitor, this is close to unavoidable. And like what a lot of reviewers said, its really a personal thing whether is bothers you are not. For me, this was something I noticed ever so slightly at first, and then after using this monitor for a few days, I had to actively look for it to notice it. (If you plan to just use this as a gaming monitor, then you will never notice this in games) don't forget you're supposed to be 2ft away from your screen. And if you can't afford the 4k version that's okay, don't leave negative reviews about color fringing when you're talking about a 1440p qd-oled.Display: Oh. My. Gosh. Does this monitor not look absolutely stunning. The vibrant popping colors, the inky deep blacks, the responsiveness, the refresh rate. This display feels almost too good to own. You can go to the review for the G60SD on Rtings.com and get the ICC profile (color calibration file) for this panel. And once you get your HDR and colors right, this monitor just pops out at you. High-contrast scenes in video games/ movies pop out at you in a realistic way. I noticed this especially with flashlights in video games, it almost tricks your brain more into looking like real life. It's SO hard to describe without seeing it in person. I TRULY believe most people who have complained about this have not calibrated correctly, or are just blind to a certain degree, which is okay too.. (Also if you are an editor, I don't care what people say, this is a great monitor for you too...) INSANELY accurate colors, I do some color-grading and this next to my studio monitor looks close to identical color-wise, but, of course, the vibrancy isn't comparable to QD-OLED.Don't let the negative reviews fool you, most times its either snobby or ignorance. You will most likely be blown away by this screen and love it.Enjoy!
Overall, quite pleased with this monitor. The colors are vibrant and rich. The refresh rate is the highest I have ever had before. It comes with a really nice stand, too. You can get the monitor right out of the box without getting greasy fingers on it because it clicks right into the stand. Easy setup. I get this random flicker sometimes on the screen and I can’t figure out if it’s an issue or if that’s a protective feature to keep the LEDs from burning in. Either way it’s so minimal I barely notice it. I would highly recommend this monitor. Especially for gaming. Games look gorgeous in OLED.
The fact that it is an OLED is a double-edged sword. First of all, OLEDs are known to have shorter lifespan than LCDs and all the other alternatives. This monitor is pretty much like all other OLEDs in a sense that TRUE BLACK will essentially be the main feature. The white light is significantly dimmer than my LCD monitors, even my LCD tablets shine brighter. This monitor does an amazing job rendering 360 hz refresh rate as an OLED at 1440p. Everything is nice and clear, it performs as they advertised. But the coil of the monitor can sometimes be tediously annoying when the room/place is very quiet. I would recommend that you turn on a fan, aircon, run a speaker or wear a noise-cancelling headphones to keep the coil sound from irritating you literally until you turn off the monitor itself.Do I like it, yes and no. But I would rather keep it than return it. Why? Because it is significantly better than my old BenQ 240 hz 1080p gaming monitor. I seriously cannot go back to that res and overall specs. This 360 hz 1440p OLED has been an amazing gaming monitor that I can confidently rely on for the next maybe 3-5 years, hopefully maybe longer.Btw, the monitor will be a good buddy with display ports but for some reason it hates HDMI. I got a Steam Deck and I used the Display port with my Steam Deck Dock and it works just fine but only at 120 hz max. While with my BenQ 240 hz 1080p, it can run up to the full 240 hz. So yeah kinda weird that my 1080p monitor can utilize its full capability with the Steam Deck while this supposedly superior tech released in 2024 cannot run Steam Deck at full 360 hz capability (limited to max of 120 hz only). So if you have a Steam Deck and you intend to use the Steam Dock, you might wanna explore better other options. Back to the HDMI issue, when I used the HDMI, IT DOES NOT WORK for the Steam Deck. (HDMI cable is perfectly normal/active because I used it to the BenQ monitor and it does work.TLDR; This monitor does as advertised/as described as a gaming OLED monitor. As an OLED monitor, the brightness will be terrible like all other OLED monitors, but you get a true black. The coil sound/noise within the monitor can be a pain in the ass sometimes when the room/place is very quiet. Basically, for this monitor, the display port will work perfectly just fine; however, with the HDMI cable, you may run into some issues.
Came from a 2719dgf TN 144hz 1440p dell panel. I loved that monitor so much and it gave me 5 good years of gaming. this OLED G6, I’ve been eyeing the odyssey line for awhile as an upgrade saw it on sale and jumped on it immediately. Going from TN to OLED is insanity HDR cyberpunk at 144fps with ray tracing on is absolutely amazing definitely worth the price. I can’t believe it looks so good it’s a night and day difference in my games. And the quality is nice too I tend to stick to the brands that give me a good product but I just didn’t see a Dell that came close to this monitor. Glad I grabbed it up 360hz gaming is utter insanity

I've owned this monitor for a few months and I've had zero real complaints. Picture Holds to the Standards of oled. 240hz function works. Settings can be adjusted from the back. Overall quality and gaming capabilitys is setting the standards for Oled Panels. Nothing broken yet.
Great picture quality, really inky dark blacks and really good response time. Overall the best monitor I’ve ever used. The joystick for the controls is perfectly fine, I saw some people complaining about it but I don’t see any issues.
