The look and feel of this coat is decent, not bad, not special. Despite multiple pictures in the product listing for the gray coat having a black lining, the coat I received has a blue lining; not a big deal, but strange for this to be different. The coat is not heavy/warm enough to be considered for winter as is listed. However, I do like the way the coat looks, it is reasonably well made and is a good choice for the fall.

I really like this jacket. I'm 6'3", 235lbs., and sometimes sizing on this sort of thing can be a bit difficult to get right. I ordered the XL and the size is spot on. Shoulders are the right width, the sleeves are long enough to cover my arms, and it has a nice look, length, and cut. It feels substantial -i t is very well sewn and has inside pockets for things and outside pockets for hands. It is properly warm, much too warm to wear right now (it's still summer as I write this) but it'll be nice in the winter months. One nagging quibble out of the package: I am not sure what is going on with the zip-in collar/breast piece but it is short and only goes down to just above my belly button. I can see what they were trying to do with that as it isn't apparent and maintains the cut and fit when the jacket is buttoned, but it looks properly stupid if the jacket isn't buttoned. That said, it zips in, and it can also be zipped out. It could be a feature rather than a bug so I'm not going to dock my rating for it. It might just be me and will take some getting used to and I am going to see how I like it when it gets colder and I live with it for a bit.Don't get me wrong, I properly love this thing. It's going to be my one of my heavier jackets for use in the winter months and I have a feeling I'll be using this on the regular!

This is a very nicely built trench coat. It isn't too heavy, so it keep you warm in most situations, whether mild or cold weather. The exterior is a wool/poly blend, which keeps it lighter, and the lining is polyester as well - based on that, this should also handle moisture and not get too heavy.I have a bit of an odd build - I can fit in small or medium, it just depends on the cut of the item. Since coats are usually cut a little larger, I went with the small size, and was glad I did. It fits perfectly, and the sleeve length is just right. In terms of looks, it appears a little odd with only the inside vest zipped up. Buttoned up, though, it looks very, very nice. The collar is removable, but it is also held on with some very tiny little loops, that easily become unbuttoned, so if the collar seems to be loose, just check those buttons in the back of the neck! The only disappointment is that the jacket is labeled hand wash only, lay flat dry - obviously this is too large of an item for most people to hand wash. It's labeled "wet clean" which probably means dry cleaning is also not a good idea - considering the amount of buttons, that would probably be a challenge for most dry cleaners. Also note: the upper zippered pocket is very small. It's not clear to me if it's meant to be an actual pocket, or just decoration, so I got out my seam ripper to see if it had possibly just been a sewn shut pocket. I instead found no more pocket lining, and it was going right into the jacket's lining! Don't try to remove those seams!

This jacket is fantastic. It fits nicely, it's very warm, and looks really good. I get a lot of complements when I'm in it. It does have some loose ends, and came a little wrinkled, but nothing major, and it's a fantastic deal for the price. I'm slim at 5'11" and about 160 lbs, so I sized down to a small and it fits amazingly. The style is ageless without the bulk of a full trench coat.

Just need to reset buttons. Second button from top fits perfect in buttonhole for the first button. Then third and forth buttons need to be sewn to make the coat conform better to my size. Should have ordered a size smaller and it would probably fit me exact-it-tickly. However I do enjoy the look of the second button in the first buttonhole better.
