Size: XS/1I am a firm believer that we should always be looking for new and innovative ways to help the environment and at the same time offer workable and realistic solutions for families. I think the Eco Boom biodegradable bamboo diapers is one way to deal with the disposable diaper dilemma. Currently, singe use diapers are not biodegradable due to the use of plastic based products. The outside of the Eco Boom diaper is made of an ultra-breathable bamboo fiber viscose back sheet that is designed to help keep baby's bottom dry. There is also a wetness indicator to help determine when it's time for a diaper change. A drawback may be that these diapers are a little pricey and may not fit into the average family's budget. Product is made in China.

I've had a good experience trying these out, where I haven't noticed any leaks and the fit is appropriate. The cost is twice as much as the run-of-the-mill diaper, but as is to be expected for diapers striving for eco-friendly options. I'm not well-versed on all the environmental certifications - it seems like these diapers are more focused on producing a product free of harmful chemicals, so there might be some eco-benefit associated with using them.

Excited to find a skin friendly and eco conscious diaper option. I’ve had a boy and girl and I know that some diapers work for some babies and not others. Luckily I’ve had no issues with leaks in these. They seem soft and absorbent and I’ve noticed no irritation on the contact areas.

One distinct feature I noticed about these diapers are how wide the bottom part is. That's exactly what you'd want for your baby's diapers, as the width helps keep their waste from falling out every where.I also noticed how much space my newborn had in them. They weren't just sitting in their pee/poo because of that space AND the absorbency took everything in perfectly. No leakage or stickiness. The quality is really, really good. They were soft enough to be comfortable for my baby but tough enough to handle the waste.Only thing I would point out is the adhesive needs to be a little stronger for the side straps. The diaper doesn't fall off or anything, but it's always better to be safe than sorry!

The softest diapers I have tried! Other diapers would give my baby a rash but not these diapers! These are leak proof as they have survived some of the worst poops lol. A little expensive but worth every penny & Will continue to buy for my baby!

The new baby isn't here yet, so I can't tell you how well they work in practice. But I googled up the company and "ECO BOOM received Mom’s Choice Awards® and International Sustainable Award in 2023. This means our diapers are recognized as a premium quality baby produt in the world, and ECO BOOM has overall excellence in increasing sustainability and reducing negative environmental impact."Whether you do cloth or disposables, diapering is of course not a low environmental impact thing. There are tradeoffs including the water used for washing or processing, the chemicals used to grow and to process the fibers, landfills vs. laundry, etc. This, you know already. What you might not know is that most "bamboo" fabric is so heavily processed that it's considered a semi-synthetic. (There are two ways to process bamboo, mechanical and chemical; the first is more eco-friendly and produces "lyocell"; the second is called "rayon" or "viscose"... these are "viscose".) The bamboo here is only on the outers of the diaper. The inners are "Chlorine-free wood pulp + SAP for the absorbent core protects the baby for up to 12 hours.", according to their website. The inners come from Germany (says the website), though the diapers are made in China. Made in Germany seems good to me, as the EU has good legislation around products. Made in China of course makes me twitchy, but I get the impression that these are made with care. One of the bullet points for these diapers is that no plastic touches the baby. There's no obvious 100% ecologically best way to diaper, but these are a really solid entry toward that end.

I have been wanting to try some Biodegradable Diapers, just because it is suppose to be better for our earth. These work alright. I actually think that these are very soft. Softer than most brand name diapers, but I think what I have discovered is that it seems a bit less absorbent than the normal brand name brand diapers. If you change your little one quite often then these should do the trick and shouldn't be a problem, but maybe as a night time diaper I don't know how well it would do compared to other brand name diapers. Just my own opinion and experience. I could be wrong but that is my just experience so far with a little a little bit of use.

These diapers from ECO BOOM are well made. The diapers are made from bamboo viscose. They even have an expiration date. The diapers are in a tote style container with a handle from the manufacturer which I found easy to open on one side for dispensing. I have taken some basic measurements of the diapers size 1 XS. The length of the diaper is 13”, the width at the fold is 4 1/2’. The front, at the scrunched area measures 2 7/8”, the width with the wings out is 8 1/4” and the width including the Velcro tabs is 10 1/4”, the rear of the diaper, the width folded is 4 1/4”, the width with the wings open is 9 1/2”.I wanted to determine if this diaper was absorbent . I have found these diapers to be absorbent. At this point in time, I have had no wet sheets, wet clothes or noticeable leaks as a result of using them. The price for a package of 34 bamboo viscose size 1diapers, at the time of this review is $21.99. This price is on the high end, in my opinion. The diapers are good quality, work as expected and have caused no irritation. I understand the products used to make them are natural and typically cost more to manufacture.Based on the points above, my rating is 4 Stars.
