Veteico 21 piece assortmentJust a couple pennys more than the lead sinkers and just a tad larger. After almost 50 years of using lead sinkers and never really having the toxicity issue raised I have been going lead free sinkers for quite some time.Brass eyes and seams are smooth. No corrosion after almost a month of steady use.Practical assortment of sizes for still or moving waterGood value.
These are actually really nice sinkers. They are machined really well and smooth. They have a good array of sizes that make them perfect for any fishing trip. Great set of sinkers
Great fishing weights.
They're fishing sinkers. I'm not sure how much you can really say about them. They're molded well and the tie loops are solid. There aren't any rough spots on the loop threading or sinker itself that the line could potentially get cut on. They work well and I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase sinkers.
They are weights
Worked like a charm! Different sizes caught me a big fish so they were exactly what I needed.
These weights turned out to be great! They are a little bigger than lead weights but that's to be expected since iron is less dense. It's nice not having to worry about putting more lead in the water. The assorted weights are good sized and are great for drop shotting. I use them for suspending high low rigs for white perch and they work well. The metal loops are well constructed and don't come undone. They cast like a bullet too. The container they come in is decent but probably will be cracked or broken before I use all the weights as it's pretty thin. Overall a good purchase especially for the price.
I picked up this 21-piece iron casting weight set because I needed more 1/2oz and 3/4oz weights for my trout fishing. These worked great. I had very nice distance casting with the 1/2 oz. They are a bit larger than lead weights due to having a lower density, but not enough difference that I noticed anything while casting. I believe there are: 1/2oz-2, 3/8oz-3, 1/4oz-4, 3/8oz-6, 1/8oz-6 weights in a basic plastic container. These state they are made of iron in the advertisement headline (although their advertising photos state "pure electrolytic lead body"??). I have read that a couple of states are limiting the use of lead weights in certain sizes due to the environmental impact (for example I saw an article this morning stating Mt. Rainier National Forest has some lead fishing tackle restrictions in its lakes), so these will be good to have for those situations, should they come up.
