My dad loved this! Unique gift for whiskey lovers.
Someone gifted one to my husband for his birthday - along with a bottle of bourbon. My Dad happens to also love Old Fashioned so I bought this as a stocking stuffer and he loved it. In fact, when my husband saw him open it he gave me that look of, "I hope there's one in my stocking too." (There was!). Highly recommend.
Gave as a gift for Christmas and the recipient loved it!
Too expensive for what it is for me to use regularly, but do make a fun occasional gift

While I’ll do most whiskey folks make their old fashions a certain way they like. I found this easy to use and surprisingly good. You have to let this set a few days as instructed. Two things here. 1. I did a little experiment and added more bourbon every time I took a two shot drink out. I was able to refill the jar one full time. So after six drink I had basically refilled it. Kept flavor and color perfectly. After that they waited off on the OG flavor. 2. I added more ingredients and am using the jar again. Would love to see this company package refills at a better price point. This is easy and simple.
I could hardly wait the three days - i actually had a bit after day 2 and really enjoyed the drink. I keep refilling it and the flavor is still great.
I just keep this on the fridge full of a decent whiskey. Every 3 days I drain the whiskey into a separate jar. The first soak is too strong of a bite for my taste but the 2nd soak on is perfect. It's so nice to just pour a old fashion straight from the fridge that tastes great every time. I mixed the first soak with the second and that calmed it down.
