Arctix Kids Tundra Jr. Insulated Jacket

the size does say XL but is not true to the fit it is like a medium but i do want to add that it is a very nice jacket dissapointed in the fit.

We purchased the camo print jacket and within the first month, the seam down the back ripped/frayed and thankfully we were able to return it. We bought a second one, hoping it was just a defect on the first one, but similar thing happened, but down the seam in the zipper. (Fraying started to occur within the first 2 weeks of wear.) Jacket was for my 10yr old boy who would constantly have to struggle with the zipper when more fraying would occur and an adult wasnt available to help him fix it (school). The last time the zipper got jammed, when I tried to unjam it, some of the teeth of the zipper ripped off. We still havent been able to get it unjammed, and unfortunately missed the return window but really hope this information gets sent to the company!!! We have always been happy with our Arctix purchases, but both attempts to make this jacket work for our 10yr old were a total FAIL!We LOVED the jacket and hoped it was just a defect. The material is heavy duty and jacket itself very warm, but seams don't hold up. Very disappointing. Not sure we will trust to make any Arctix apparel purchases in the future :(

Grandson loves it perfect fir

I bought this for a ski trip we were invited to attend kinda last minute. The first day was miserable freezing rain & wind. This coat did a good job keeping my girl warm & dry. Even when they came in for lunch & her coat thawed out the wet didn’t penetrate all the way through.For regular daily winter wear it’s a good coat. My girl likes the coat, but this very heavy - not as it’s just a nice winter coat but as it weighs a lot. She has also worn it out to play in the snow multiple times & stays warm & dry. The color is exactly as shown on my screen. We’ve not experienced difficulty with the zippers.

My 5 year old had a hard time zipping this himself. I have a difficult time also as the fabric is stiff and the zipper gets stuck. I was hoping with a few washes it would “break in” but it hasn’t. That being said, it is thin enough for him to be active in and also very warm.

Very good quality jacket. Amazing price. Fits a little smaller then size indicates so I am happy I ordered a larger size. My son is very happy.

BUY IT! I must have gone through 3 or 4 coats for my son last year before ordering this one from Amazon. He used it part of last winter and again this winter. It is made well and keeps my son warm no matter how cold it's been this year. And did it get cold here in the mitten state! I am very pleased with my purchase and am hoping he can fit into it for one more winter. I might just get the next size up for the future anyway. It's a great coat!

The right fit and warm

Typically in MN we need some real warm winter gear. My kid loves his. It fits well and is very warm. Now we just need some cold weather.The only thing about it is that it is very stiff until it gets broken in. Once broken in it softens up. Zipper is good. Well made. Will update if anything changes.

This jacket was a great alternative to the one my son destroyed last winter. It zips to his chin, keeping him cozy, dry and warm.

This kids winter coat is well made--stitching is great, true to size and WARM. My son has stayed warm in it regardless of how cold the weather has been in the upper north, and it's been truly snow-water resistant. The velcro cuffs is welcomed to help seal around mittens/gloves and the hood is secure for young, rough boys!The low-snag design of the front without a bunch of designs or stitching flaps like some other kids coats is appreeciated. Also the the pockets are fairly secure.

This jacket surpassed all expectations. Better quality than any other jacket I have purchased to date.
