Inspired by Oakley Tie Bar, OX5073 Sway Bar eyeglass frames are constructed with a premium titanium frame material, in a rectangular silhouette which features a laser etched icon, carrying the same level of sophistication as its predecessor. The style offers adjustable silicone nosepads to provide the ideal fit, while Three-point fit is designed for all-day comfort and to help hold eyewear in optical alignment. Oakley sunglasses sold by authorized sellers, like bonanza , are eligible for all manufacturer warranties and guarantees. I love these frames. No socks on the arms but they are super comfortable regardless and lightweight too!Highly recommend.
Although I loved the look, feel, and extremely light weight of this Oakley titanium frame…there is one major flaw with its design. The straight temple arms are matte coated titanium like the rest of the frame, but do not have ear socks. As a result, the frame easily slides off your face upon looking downward. This happens as soon as the full weight of the lens pulls down with gravity and the nose pieces no longer sit on top of the nose. There is a lack of friction from the light weight frame and straight temple arms to keep it in place.Your mileage may vary…but unfortunately I cannot recommend this frame based on my experience. Following this, I purchased the Oakley Tincup 0.5 Titanium instead…which also has a rectangular lens shape, but straight flat temple arms with ear socks.
As most reviewers stated, these frames do not come with ear or template socks. I did not know that, when I purchased them. This is a major design problem as they make the glasses less grippy to your face. However, aftermarket template socks can be found on Amazon and they will work. Oakley currently does not make any specific socks for this model so if you contact them they say stocks will not work with this frame. However, you can find generic temple socks on Amazon of you do a little searching.
I thought these would be a great investment since they were supposed to be lightweight. However, after wearing them for just 10 minutes, they give me a headache. I’m not sure if it’s due to the lenses or the rims, but something isn’t right. Plus they slide off if looking down
The fit wasn’t right
Very quick supply at excellent quality level and well packaged coming from Italy
